Private Schools

All SELPAs within Los Angeles County, known as the Greater Los Angeles Area SELPAs (GLAAS), have a local agreement pertaining to students with or suspected of disabilities parentally placed in private schools.  Parents whose children attend a private school located within Los Angeles County boundaries who suspect their child has special needs are encouraged to contact the special education department in their school district of residence.  Parents who reside outside of Los Angeles County whose children attend private schools within the Mid-Cities SELPA who suspect their child has special needs are encouraged to contact the special education department of the district where the private school is located.
